Some people reportedly queued thirteen hours to be first in line for the new handheld's launch, which will hit European shores later this month. There was a crowd of fans present, with some dressed up as Mario, Link and Luigi.

The first 100 people in line at the store, which is located in the heart of New York City, recieved not just their purchase of the DS Lite, but a free carrying case, and the suprise of a complimentary copy of Brain Age.
