North Americans can enjoy Protthea, Toki Tori and the NEOGEO title Ninja Combat from today.
Our friends across the pond have just received their regular weekly update of downloadable Wii goodness, kicking off with two new WiiWare titles. European gamers will of course be familiar with Toki Tori, which was released here as a WiiWare launch title.
The other WiiWare game is Protthea, and is Ubisoft's first title for the service. It's a one-player top-down scrolling shooter title with free movement which Ubisoft claim "introduces new concepts to a beloved, classic game style while mixing genres and utilizing the full capabilities of the Wii console, from graphics to controls." Apparently there are four different worlds and 10 challenging missions. You can check our report on the title we published here last month, which includes footage of the title in action.
The final downloadable offering for North Americans this week is Ninja Combat, originally for the NEOGEO and released back in 1990. It's a a side-scrolling combat-action game for up to two players, where the player must take control of ninjas, fight other ninjas, and generally ninja your way around, ninja-stylee.
