North American 3DS owners can find out if they're a member of the Ambassador scheme.

Following on from yesterday's announcement that Australian 3DS owners could verify whether or not they were in the Ambassador scheme, and thus got twenty free games, Nintendo of America has launched its own online verifier.

The protocol for checking your Ambassador status is the same as it was for Australia, and presumably will be for Europe. North American 3DS owners can simply head on over to the Nintendo website and enter the serial number found on the reverse of their console. This will then inform the owner if they are a member of the Ambassador scheme and you can rest assured that free games are coming your way. The site also contains a link for Latin American owners to check as well.

We presume that European owners will be able to check in a few days time whether or not they are registered. As always we'll keep you updated.
