The popular app Angry Birds is making its way onto the Wii. Chances are they won't be happy.

Since it first launched on the iPhone Angry Birds has become an app success story, seemingly overnight. Kotaku has confirmed that the popular title will be released on the Nintendo Wii.

CEO Peter Vesterbacka of Rovio confirmed that they are not working on a sequel but are planning to bring the game to other platforms. However, he did hint that future iterations may be focused on the pigs' perspective.
