Animal Crossing: Wild World

News: Animal Crossing: Wild World Info!

In Animal Crossing: Wild World for the DS, all four people living in your town will be sharing the same house! That and more inside...

This month, Nintendo Power magazine has a feature on the upcoming DS incarnation of Animal Crossing, and it reveals a few new tidbits.

Though four players (playing off just one DS cart) can inhabit the same house, like the Cube version, only one person can roam the town at once. The other players are shown sleeping in the bedroom.

All players now have a hand in what the house looks like, so gamers will have to make compromises with their mates as to the colours and furniture in their shared abode. Crucially though, you and your roomies share mortgage payments, making them easier to pay this time round.

In another major change from the console version, the station and train-line have been removed, and replaced by a mysterious gate instead. Passing through this gate takes you (via LAN and Wi-Fi) to other towns...

So where does this leave K.K. Slider? He now has his own stage in the brand new town bar!

We'll be bringing you more news on this hotly-anticipated title soon.
