Popular TV show Jeff Corwin Experience is heading to Nintendo's handheld.

Coming from developers Conspiracy Entertainment, the game is based on the Animal Planet show and intends to educate players about different aspects of wildlife. Today they announced an extension of the licence agreement to both the DS and the PSP.

"We are pleased to play a part in bringing quality educational content to PSP and DS users," said Sirus Ahmadi, President and CEO of Conspiracy Entertainment. "We are hopeful that the popularity of the 'Jeff Corwin Experience' will entice young gamers to learn about wildlife in a manner that is both fun and educational."

It won't be any easy achievement, for sure. Expect the game December 2006.
