Affect gravity in this newly announced DSiWare platformer.

From the makers of Cosmos X2 comes a brand new DSiWare title called Antipole. The game is described as a 2D platformer that allows players to alter the gravity around them and they must use this ability to succeed.

Players must hold down the R button to create an area around them where gravity is reversed and anything in this area is affected. You must use this ability, that only lasts for a short time, to navigate through obstacles and defeat enemies quickly. The ability will recharge if you're stood on solid ground or inactive and it can also be used while in mid-air, meaning you can perform all kinds of stunts.

Antipole features 20 levels, with each level containing three hard to reach coins. In addition to this 12 extra levels will provide gamers with even more of a challenge. For anyone looking for a bigger challenge the title will feature a hard mode whereby gamers will have a reduced health meter and less power for the gravity ability.

Anyone who enjoyed Cosmos X2 will be pleased to hear that Saturnine Games has promised a bonus mode for owners of their previous title. The title is due out later in the year and in the meantime you can enjoy images from the game in our screenshot gallery.
