Ark of Sinners has been announced for WiiWare and looks to give Castlevania a run for its money.

Anima Games Studio is preparing the release of Ark of Sinners for WiiWare, a 2D action game that looks similar to the Castlevania series. Revogamers recently had a chance to play the game and have detailed exactly what players can expect.

According to a translation byNintendo Life the Wii Remote is held on its side and players use the D-pad to move, 1 button to attack and 2 button to jump. Players will also be able to use combos and special attacks as well to keep the gameplay interesting.

The game is expected to be released as a trilogy and the first part will be released early next year for 1000 Wii Points. Head on over to Revogamers for the first images from the game.
