ASDA slash the price of Wii for four days only!

From today UK retailer ASDA have slashed the price of our favourite little console to �145!

Running for four days only (that's Sunday 24th mother), gamers with a penchant for grabbing a bargain (or don't own a Wii) should get themselves straight to their local ASDA where a cheap Wii can be found amongst the vegetables and screaming kids. However, if you're unsociable then the deal is also available from Asda Direct for the same price.

Asda's games buying manager Duncan Cross recently told MCV that the firm is now in a better position to do aggressive price deals following the creation of its direct trading team. (Away from its old Woolworths-related setup). "Because of the fall of EUK we now no longer have a middle man, so we can really trade aggressively, strike deals and grow products by giving great value to our customers," he said.
