News: Atlus Announce Five DS Titles

Atlus have revealed five new titles for the Nintendo DS- one being a new iteration of the classic Snowboard Kids.

Through an update on their Japanese website, Atlus today announced five new titles for the Nintendo DS. No big details were revealed, nor were the release date or prices of the games.

The most exciting announcement of the bunch is Snowboard Kids DS- a NDS version of the classic Nintendo 64 title, which featured, you guessed it- snowboards and kids. Described as an "action racer"- Atlus are keen to emphasise that this will not be a port of the snow-filled Mario-Kart-with-snowboards-and-kids racer which we saw on the N64. The other titles announced are a mixed bunch really- Life Game DS brings the popular "Game of Life" board game to the dual-screened wonderbeast, Choro Q DS is another racer which appeared on the Nintendo 64- a game which saw you collecting automobiles for your driving pleasure in a non-serious fun-and-frills manner, Truth and a Goddess: Transmigration DS is a, wait for it, RPG- which will be music to the (pointy) ears of wizard-loving folk across the world, while details on Kadoukeusu are unknown- described as a "action" game, we'll have more on it as it breaks.

With the Nintendo DS's final look being unveiled this morning, and more titles being added to its portfolio all the time-- things are looking really bright for Nintendo's new baby. We'll have more news as it reaches us.
