Atlus USA will be localizing the DS RPG Contact and GBA strategy titles in the Super Robot Taisen series.

American RPG fans again owe Atlus thanks. The company, popular for localizing a good number of Japanese titles, announced in a press release their intention of bringing Contact and Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation and Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation 2 to the US.

Contact is a DS RPG from Grasshopper Interactive, the makers of the Gamecube title Killer 7. The game features beautiful artwork and will include WiFi features. Learn more about the title here in Atlus' press release. It is scheduled for release this summer.

The two titles in the Super Robot Taisen series, Original Generation and Original Generation 2, are developed by Banpresto. The series, immensely popular in Japan through many iterations, is known for its excellent strategy RPG gameplay and it's use of a number of popular robots and characters from a list of popular anime series. Whereas Original Generation is slated for a summer release this year, Original Generation 2 will come out in the fall.
