Nintendo of Australia today confirmed that it has plans to bring the Game Boy Advance SP headphone adaptor, along with official Game Boy Advance headphones, to Australia. Unfortunately, the new Game Boy Advance doesn't come equipped with a headphone jack.
The company says that, when the unit releases on March 28th, it will allow consumers to purchase the peripherals directly from its head office via the consumer support line (+61 3 9730 9822), and will ship the products directly to Game Boy Advance SP owners shortly after the order is placed. According to Nintendo, the accessories won't release at retail.
The Game Boy Advance SP Headphone Adaptor will retail for AU$9.00, and the headphones will retail for AU$16.00, or alternatively, gamers can pay AU$25.00 and purchase the items as a set.
