OK, with that all said and done, a lots been happening down here in Oz. Firstly, I got a call from my local EB that the first batch of games are starting to arrive! Being the bunch of bi... i mean, good folk that they are... they wouldn't tell me which games they had recieved, but did say that they would go on sale over the next few days.

Also, Preorders have been going through the roof, smashing old records, and there's still two weeks to go! Here's what a Kmart Sokemperson had to say on the matter, "With all the marketing and in-store point of sale for GameCube really starting to take shape, consumers are now becoming more excited than ever about pre-ordering their Nintendo GameCube. Pre-sell orders for Nintendo GameCube at Kmart have now broken all of our previous records"

An incredible effort indeed. Lastly, the Official Australian Nintendo Site has started a little news wire. Not much there now, but they have promised to keep it updating in the days leading to the launch.

Tomorrow, I'll be hanging off the phone to Nintendo Australia, to see if I can dig anything else up for ya!
