Australia is the first PAL territory to get another GameCube price drop. All stores will today be lowering the price from 190 euros to (brace yourselves) 112 euros!

Nintendo of Australia decided to lower the price after Microsoft and Sony lowered the retail price of their consoles to 190 euros earlier this month in Australia.

We don't know yet if in Europe we will also see the GameCube price drop in the near future. As soon as we find out more we will let you know!

UPDATE: GameCube stays put in Europe

We just contacted Nintendo Benelux B.V. to get some information on a possible European price drop. They told us however that the price will not be lowered in Europe in the near future. So if you really want to get yourself a mega cheap Cube you will have to import it from Australia.
