Nintendo of Australia is the next territory to reveal when the Lite will hit... and it's before America!

Nintendo Australia have just posted on their official site that the Nintendo DS Lite will be available across Australia on June 1st. In somewhat suprising news, this date is ten days earlier than when the system will hit America, though again, the handheld will only launch in the newly re-named "Polar White" colour.

Launching at a reasonable AU$199.95 (though slightly more expensive than in America), Nintendo is hoping that the sexy new handheld will be a big hit.

At the time of press, Nintendo Europe have still to make an announcement on the Lite - making it the only main territory not to have announced launch plans so far. Come on NoE!
