Game Convention Awards
These are the titles that were considered the best of the show at this year's Game Convention, held in Leipzig, Germany.
Best PlayStation 2 game:
Jak 2: Renegade (Sony)
Best GameCube game:Mario Kart: Double Dash!! (Nintendo)Best Xbox game:
True Crime: Streets of L.A.(Activision)
Best Game Boy Advance game:Golden Sun 2 (Nintendo)Best mobile game:
Mozzies (Siemens AG)
Best graphics:Need For Speed Underground (Xbox, PS2, GC - Electronic Arts)Innovation Award:
Dog's Life (PS2 - Sony)
Best gameplay:Pro Evolution Soccer 3 (PS2 - Konami)
Beyond Good & Evil (PS2, GC, Xbox - Ubi Soft)Nintendo will show at next year's GC twice as many games they showed this year, and for this reason, they will use a booth with 1,200 square meters which is larger than the one they used this year which had 620 square meters.
