News: Band Brothers Sequel In The Works

Famitsu revealed that a sequel to the rhythm game Daigasso! Band Brothers is being developed.

Daigasso! Band Brothers is a fantastic DS rhythm game that was only released in Japan where you play a multitude of songs with the instrument of your choice and go multiplayer with up to 8 friends, each playing a different instrument. You could also compose and save your own songs by either choosing the notes with the touch screen or singing a tune to the microphone and the game would convert it into notes in the screen. The game never saw a Western release, although there were talks of a western version, Jam With The Band.

The sequel will now have 30 different songs from classical to game music and J-Pop, 50 different instruments (the NES being one of them), playable guitar by "strumming" the touch screen, Karaoke mode and over 100 tracks through DLC (downloadable.

Seems great! Stay tuned for more!
