Treasure have announced a European release date for their innovative shooter, Bangai-O Spirits.

Bangai-O Spirits is a side-scrolling shooter developed by Treasure, and is the successor to the extremely rare Nintendo 64 cult classic, Bangai-O. The title has been highly praised for its unique ability to allow users to save and download tracks by relaying special sounds into the DS microphone.

D3Publisher Europe Ltd today announced that this little handheld treasure (get it?) will be released in Europe in August, and should make for the perfect summer game.
