Baseball anime Major gets its own Wii game...

Japanese anime Major will be getting a Wii game, published by Tomy.

The anime follows Gorou Honda on his journey from childhood to becoming s professional baseball player. Gorou starts playing baseball in First grade, takes place in school teams through Junior High and Highschool, then progresses to the Minor league baseball and Baseball World Cup.

Little is known about the video game adaptation, Major Dream for Wii, but we'd be willing to bet that you'll be swinging the Wii Remote like a bat for a lot of the game.

More information on the game will be released at the Tokyo Game Show, so stay tuned for more information.
