Nintendo's home and handheld consoles have been able to connect with each other since the N64 introduced the Transfer Pack but this feature has seldom been used for the Nintendo Wii and DS. WayForward Technologies' upcoming Batman: The Brave and the Bold the Videogame will make use of this feature however, offering gamers with both the DS and Wii versions an extra bonus.

Players will be able to use their DS to control Bat-Mite, a character from the comic books who dresses like his favourite hero Batman, within the game. It is currently unclear exactly how the character will be used but expect more news soon.
