News: Behemoth Announce Next Title

Behemoth Studios, developers of Alien Hominid for Gamecube, announce their next project at Comic-con!
Tentatively titled "The Behemoth's Next Game", the game will feature Alien Hominid's cel-shaded graphics and old school side-scrolling 2D environment. This time however, the title will be a beat 'em up, rather than a shooter.
"It's like Alien Hominid with frantic action, only now you can play with four players and have a lot of combos and air juggling," said Tom Fulp, software developer and co-founder of The Behemoth.
The four characters, each of which have different abilities - fire, ice, poison and lightning, can pull off combo attacks, and innovatively the gameplay is pulled off with just two action buttons. One button to jump, another to fight with a sword. Pressing the L trigger switches your sword for a bow and arrow and your elemental projectile attack, unpressing it switches the two action buttons back to their original uses.
The game will appear on as yet unconfirmed platforms - although the demo was running on GameCube at Comic-con. Similarly, no release date or publisher have been confirmed at this point, though Behemoth are saying it should ship roughly a year from now.
