Nintendo's latest A-list celebrity signed up to support the company is global megastar singer Beyonce!

Joining the ranks of Nicole Kidman, America Ferrera, Liv Tyler, Carrie Underwood and Lisa Kudrow, it is now Beyonce Knowles turn to star in a commercial for Nintendo - this time promoting DS music title Rhythm Heaven.

Beyonce will appear in an upcoming commercial for the title, and also revealed to Entertainment Weekly her favourite games: "All the Wii games. And Tetris. And BrickBreaker on her BlackBerry." Her favourite game right now? "Guitar Hero."

She said that "Rhythm Heaven" was like a portable version of that game, meaning no carrying around the guitar controller (although the title is now available for DS too...)
