News: Bits Studios Change Direction

Bit Studios have decided to focus more on next-gen console development and less on GBA so it does not fall to the same demise as Crawfish and Binary9.
MD of Bits, Foo Katan said this to C&VG:
"The price point is key. It's too expensive for publishers to release games unless they're poppy licences."
Bits Studios have just finished work on Sega Arcade Gallery which features four classic games from Shenmue creator, Yu Suzuki. Bits Studios have also recently published Jet Riders and Wizards but neither of these games have been picked up by a devloper.
Bits Studios is now focusing all it's work on their upcoming PS2 game Die Hard and Theives World for the Xbox. The Gamecube version of Die Hard received criticisms for some of the gameplay. Katan had this to say:
We are trying to accommodate auto-aiming issues, control issues and graphical issues - there will be a lot of improvements. Auto-aiming [in the GameCube version] made the game too easy, stopping players from making use of the stealth aspect of the game."
As well as adding the multiplayer feature that lacked in the Gamecube version Bits Studios plan to include a lot more features.
"We've been through lots of notice boards and read the reviews - you will definitely notice more of a change than you would usually expect from a cross-platform port."
