Treyarch has stated that a patch to fix some of the Call of Duty: Black Ops issues will be released within 24 hours.

In the next 24 hours a new update to Call of Duty: Black Ops will be released on the Wii Shop Channel that will fix some of the initial issues fans have noted. The download will be prompted when you start multiplayer so there is nothing you need to do but keep playing.

If you happen to be playing on multiplayer when it goes live switch then single player and back. It cannot be accessed through the Zombie mode either. The full list of fixes include:

• Unable to connect to multiplayer without switching profiles
• Freezes during matchmaking when using the LAN adapter
• Players were sometimes kicked out af a game right before it started
• Changes to custom controls and options were not saving correctly (“Unbound glitch”)
• Wager match specific bug in Radiation that caused dead players to teleport
• Fixed "care package glitch" where player could get infinite number of 'Sam Turret', 'Care Package', and 'Sentry Gun' killstreaks
