NGamer have confirmed that Boogie will be rearing its ugly head once again on the Wii with the advent of Boogie Superstar, now compatible with the Wii Balance Board.

Ah, Boogie. What could have been an extremely fun little Wiimote-thrusting affair turned out to be a monotonously dire rhythm game which quickly grew repetitive. Ranting aside, NGamer have confirmed that EA's runt of the Wii litter will be receiving a successor later this year.

The UK magazine revealed that the title will be called Boogie Superstar, and will feature compatibility with Wii Fit's hugely popular Balance Board, which should liven up the tedious gameplay which ruined the first game. Superstar appeared on a retail listing earlier this month and was slated for an October 14th release in the US, though NGamer confirm that the title will be released this autumn.
