News: Boogie Trailer, Screenshots

A trailer for Boogie has been released, along with new screenshots...

Boogie is EA's first attempt at both a karaoke game and dancing game for the Wii combined. EA have now released a promotional trailer for the game.

Also of interest is the new official boxart, seen right, which sports a new microphone. Previous versions had a black microphone, but it seems that EA have decided to change it to white to match the Wii's design. The microphone connects to the Wii via the USB ports on the Wii's rear.

The game itself is mixed into two sections - karaoke and dancing, rather than combining both together. You can customise the in-game characters, and it includes a video editor. You can even apply an effect to make the video look 3D when using the Red/Blue "3D" Glasses.

Boogie contains 40 songs and is due for a Europe release on the 31st August 2007. Check out the new screenshots and the trailer, which shows 2 Boogie characters dancing to You're The One That I Want", below.
