News: Brand New DS Lite Pictures!

Everything you've seen so far have been mock-ups, but this is the real thing. We've got a ton of new pics inside - including some you won't have seen anywhere else!

We can now bring you pictures of a real DS Lite - all pictures cirulating previously have been nothing more than computer generated mockups. The first four were originally posted by gaming site Engadget, however others can currently only be found here.

Noticeably, the power switch has been moved to the side - it must now be slid across and held for two seconds to make sure it doesn't get turned off or on by accident. The stylus is also now held on the side as opposed to the back of the device. Additionally, the console's code is now "USG" (we're not sure what it stands for) as opposed to "NTR" for the original DS (which stood for the console's code-name, "Nitro").

The firmware on the DS remains the same (unfortunately no Wi-Fi Connection compatible Pictochat). Though there is a slight change to the main screen's backlight switch option - it now cycles through the four levels of brightness available. Enjoy your first proper look at the new handheld from all angles!
