Ubisoft is bringing Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars to Nintendo consoles next year!

One of the best adventure games ever made is being re-made for the Wii and DS by developers Revolution, which Ubisoft will publish in Europe next March it has been revealed. Based on the classic Broken Sword, the re-make will apparently expand the original game considerably.

New content in the form of extra puzzles, locations and more story to help explain what happened prior to the start of the original game, and how it ties to later games in the series.

The title will also be complimented by controls specifically made for the DS' touch-screen and the Wii's Remote. The game will also see new facial animations for its characters drawn by Watchmen's Dave Gibbons.
