A leak on the developer's website confirms a third in the series is in the works, as well as a completely new IP.

Developer Infinity Ward accidentally leaked news that a third Call of Duty is in the planning stages of development within a job posting on their website. An unnamed original intellectual property is also said to be in the works by the team.

The developer has since removed reference to the two new titles.

Nintendo fans can be pretty confident they will see Call of Duty 3 due to the first in the series being released on GameCube. The sequel, Call of Duty 2: Big Red One, is currently in development, also for Cube. But will we see the third on Gamecube, or Revolution?
