News: Canadian Wiis Selling Out Fast

Canadians are going crazy for the Wii, and unsuprisingly Zelda too...

Wii consoles have been selling out across Canada, with Nintendo of Canada admitting they are struggling to meet the high demand for the new console. Apparently, the company has yet to even start their planned TV advertising campaign - to avoid advertising a product that consumers won't find in stores.

However, more units will be shipping to stores over the next few weeks, which will hopefully satisfy the demand of gamers - and already interested non-gamers - who have registered interest in the next-gen platform.

So far, the most popular software title for the system is unsuprisingly Zelda: Twilight Princess, with reports that a copy of the game has been sold with almost every Wii console bought. Ubisoft's Red Steel is apparently the second highest seller, followed by Activision's Call of Duty 3, Sega's Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz and then Atari's Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2.
