Despite being one of Japan's most popular franchises, the Monster Hunter games have never real caught on in the US and Europe as much as they have in their homeland. However, they still have a dedicated, core audience who have been praying the latest installment will see the light of day outside the Land of the Rising Sun.

In a recent video interview, the main producer of the Wii-exclusive Monster Hunter 3 discussed the title's control scheme, its online features, as well as divulging Capcom's attitude to bringing the game to western territories:
