Capcom injects a bit more nostalgia into Virtual Console with a range of classic arcade titles...

One of the little used features of Nintendo's Virtual Console service is the ability to download classic arcade titles as well as old console favourites. Hopefully Capcom will spruce up interest in the arcade scene again, as the company has announced six of its arcade titles to be rolled out on the service over winter.

The full line-up includes the iconic war shoot 'em up 1942, fellow vertical shooter Exed Exes, the very original action packed romp that spawned a series Commando: Wolf of the Battlefield, colourful brawler Black Tiger and the notoriously ultra-difficult Ghosts 'n Goblins. Finally, rounding off the pack is the original version of the popular adventure title SonSon.

No release dates have been set, but all games are expected to see release on Virtual Console in North America and PAL territories over the coming months, at a price point of 500 Points each.
