Capcom have posted their financial results for the first three quarters of the fiscal year ending March 31st.
Good news, Capcom fans -the Japanese software giant has posted a profit this year, bringing them back into the safety zone after the last fiscal year which saw them company posting one of their largest losses ever and cancelling severall titles in developmeant.
The company made a net profit of 1.4 billion yen -which is approximately 9 million, on total earnings which exceeded 39.1 billion yen -approximately 290 million. Most of the profit has been attributed to high and steady sales of high-profile Resident Evil: Outbreak and Onimusha Buraiden for PS2 and Rockman EXE 4 Tournament Red Sun and Tournament Blue Moon for the GameBoy Advance.
However, the report pointed out that other high-profile titles didn't sell so well in territories outside of the companys Japanese home -namely games such as P.N. 03 and Viewtiful Joe, which despite garnering many critical plaudits, failed to deliver in the market place.
