Capcom's COO David Reeves suggests that Monster Hunter may be coming to the 3DS.

A few months ago rumours circulated suggesting that Monster Hunter would be coming to the 3DS. Many people held onto the belief that it would eventually be shown and the announcement was just being delayed for one reason or another. Now some more fuel has been added to the fire courtesy of David Reeves.

Speaking to GameSpot about the possibility of the franchise appearing on the 3DS and Sony Vita Mr. Reeves had this to say: "I think down the road, you could probably see a Monster Hunter iteration somewhere. Probably on both of them".

This is obviously not a confirmation but at least it is encouraging that even someone within Capcom thinks that a Monster Hunter game will finally materialise on the 3DS. As usual stay tuned for more news.
