A Japanese Nintendo retailer event reveals the release dates for Captain Rainbow, Wii Music and Valkyrie Profile DS, as well as confirmation of coloured Wii Remote wrist straps.
Just a week after the conclusion of E3 2008 in LA, Nintendo have held a more low-key event in the land of the rising sun for retailers. There's not a lot of new information, but we do have some confirmation of Japanese release dates and a new batch of Wii accessories.
Nintendo's Wii Music has been confirmed to have a release date of October 16th in Japan, and will retail for 5800. Nintendo also revealed that Miyamoto's latest product will be a part of the Touch Generations range and will make use of Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
Skip Ltd.'s latest wacky project, Captain Rainbow, was also given the release date of August 28th for Japan and will retail for 6800.
In addition, Square Enix's Valkyrie Profile: The Accused One for DS is scheduled to be released on October 2nd in Japan and will retail for 5040.
In some more 'exciting' news, Nintendo also unveiled a new range of coloured Wii Remote wrist straps. The accessories will be out in September and will be available in white, pink, blue and green for 300 each, or as a set of four for 1000.
Stick around for Western release dates for these products.
