News: Cars 2: The Video Game Confirmed

Pixar's motor-powered heroes zoom back onto consoles this summer...

To coincide with the impending movie release this summer, Disney has confirmed a video game tie-in for Cars 2.

The aptly-titled Cars 2: The Video Game is being developed by Avalanche Software, who last year worked on Toy Story 3: The Video Game. Cars 2: The Video Game promises to feature a variety of missions that will involve utilising high-tech gadgetry in some blisteringly fast racing action.

"Cars is one of Pixar's most successful and treasured franchises, so we are thrilled to be working with Avalanche Software again to extend our creative vision of the Cars 2 universe into the interactive medium. Avalanche Software has the technology, experience, and history in working with us to create the best-looking Cars video game to date."
