Looks like Konami is bringing the revered series to WiiWare in classic style...

The ESRB age-ratings website has revealed a new title in the Castlevania series is heading for Wii. Named Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth, it seems the new title will be a remake of the aged, 1989 Game Boy entry Castlevania: The Adventure.

Konami has already had previous success on WiiWare by releasing classic franchises under the 'ReBirth banner, including Gradius and Contra. The semi-new 'Vania title will likely feature upgraded graphics while retaining the same, 2D-sidescrolling gameplay.
