There are vampires on this plane!

WiiWare is continuing to reel in the new developers, as we announce to you today that Blobber Team (who are handling the development of Nibris' Raid Over the River) are bringing a game called Last Flight to the platform.

Stepping into the shoes of a culinary critic (is this a possible tie-in to Major League Eating?), you find yourself somehow trapped on a plane riddled with vampires, which you must fend off with your blessed whip. The undead fiends can be well and truly murdered with a well-placed stake through their heart, but you can only carry four at a time. When you run out of stakes, you can use your environment to create new ones, which should add an element of survival horror to the game.

The game employs rather stylish cel-shaded visuals, which look like they've been ripped straight out of a comic book. Last Flight is scheduled for a WiiWare release in Q1 2009.
