2K Games have confirmed that Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution is indeed heading to Wii...

Civilization Revolution was announced a few weeks ago, but was only confirmed for PS3, 360 and handhelds.

Now, in a E3 press release, 2K games have confirmed that Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution is also heading to the Wii and DS. The DS, 360 and PS3 versions are set for a spring 2008 release, but Wii fans will have to wait for Autumn 2008 for it to arrive on their console.

Civilization Revolution is a "God Game" that allows players to rule the world from he dawn of man to the futuristic space-age. The game will include 16 civilisations to master and an array of famous historical figures to play with or battle against. Some versions will have online play, but it is unknown if all versions will include it.
