A NES puzzle classic and SEGA's platforming-shooter hybrid Wonder Boy III are this week's Virtual Console offerings in Europe.

It's time for another Virtual Console update, and this week we're treated to two titles: one NES game from Nintendo themselves, and one SEGA Mega Drive threequel.

Clu Clu Land (500 Wii Points) is the puzzler which provided the basic premise for DK: King of Swing and its sequel, Jungle Climber. You must use your spinning on-screen companion to grab on to the many pegs littered about the screen in order to navigate mazes and defeat enemies.

Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair (800 Wii Points) is a platformer/scrolling shooter which sees you riding a dragon into battle to fend off the barbaric hordes who are attempting to disturb peace in your land.
