Shigeru Miyamoto gains a place in CNN's The 50 Who Matter Now...

Following on from The Times, CNN now see Shigeru Miyamoto as an important figure in today's history.

In CNN's The 50 Who Matter Now, Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto gets a mention for creating Nintendo franchises such as Donkey Kong, Mario and Zelda; as well as the Nintendo Wii.

CNN congratulate Shigeru for creating a machine which has expanded their image from their previous "middle-school demographic", and for breathing new life in the computer game industry. If Shigeru keeps getting press like this, he may well become a well-known figure in the computer industry just like Bill Gates and Steve Jobs.
