Japan gets another colour variation for the Nintendo 3DS, this time it's Cobalt Blue.
Anyone intending to purchase a Nintendo 3DS in Japan can look forward to having the choice of six different colours as of this month as Nintendo has announced that a Cobalt Blue variation will be released.
Andriasang report that the new colour variation will launch on March 22nd and a month later a special Fire Emblem Awakening bundle will be released on April 19th through Nintendo's online sales service. The bundle will contain a Cobalt Blue console, complete with an emblem on the front (seen below), the game itself and a 1,000 Fire Emblem point card.
Alongside this news Nintendo has also announced that two of the most popular Nintendo 3DS games will also be getting new colour variation bundles. As of March 17th Japanese gamers can pick up a Monster Hunter 3G bundle that combines the game with either a red or black console. On March 24th Super Mario 3D Land will come bundled with either a white or pink console and a pre-installed version of Super Mario Bros on the console.
Nintendo has already announced that Fire Emblem Awakening will be coming to Europe this year and we'll be sure to keep you updated about any new colour variations coming to our shores.
