News: Commodore 64 on Virtual Console

Even more good news for European gamers - The Commodore 64 will soon be reaching the European Virtual Console.
The Commodore 64 is the best selling single computer model of all time, Guinness Book of World Records. Released in 1982 it sold over 22 million units and had a library of over 4,000 until it's demise in 1994. It has a special place in the hearts of most long-time gamers.
You will soon be able to buy Commodore 64 games from the Wii Shop Channel for 500 Wii Points. These games will only be available in Europe. Bala Keilman, CEO of Commodore Gaming, had this to say on the announcement:
"The massive impact the Commodore 64 had on video-gaming is still evident today with many gamers remembering the computer and its games with great fondness. By working with Nintendo of Europe, we are ensuring that future generations of gamers can play some of the best and most popular titles that kick-started the computer games revolution and so keep the C64 legacy in gamers hearts."
International Karate (A one-on-one fighting game) and Uridium (A sci-fi side scrolling shooter) will be the first tiles available on the Virtual Console.
