Nintendo have released updates for some Virtual Console titles to solve problems with using a component cable...
Some of the early Virtual Console titles for the NES, SNES and Mega Drive wouldn't display on some TVs when using the Component Cable.
Before long, Nintendo created a fix for the problem and newer Virtual Console titles would work using a component cable. The older games, however, were left without the fix. Some Virtual Console games now have updates on the Wii Shop Channel which will make the game work when using the component cable.
We can confirm that Kirby's Adventure, Donkey Kong and Military Madness are among those with the fix. Games like Super Mario World and Sonic the Hedgehog are still without the fix.
If you have some games that don't work with a component cable, check the Wii Shop Channel for updates.
