In an interview with a French website, Next Level Games reveals some more of the Wii's online system...

French website Gamers.fr has posted an interview with Justin Dowdeswell from Next Level Games on their website, this interview reveals more information on the online system we will be using for the Wii.

We already know that Mario Strikers Charged Football uses friend codes (which was widely criticised by many of our readers). However, the game also used a separate code for every Mii registered online. According to the interview, this Mii Code will be constant, and used in future online titles.

So, now we have Connect24, which is used for sending data between Wii consoles, and WiFi Connection, which allows for different accounts via Miis. The constant Mii Code goes a long way to explaining why Nintendo didn't use the Wii System Code for online gaming.
