News: Cooking Navi Announced For Europe

Nintendo's culinary cartridge of treats will be hitting Europe later this year.

Shaberu! DS Oryōri Navi was released almost two years ago in Japan. Effectively a portable cookbook, the game supplied users with many step-by-step Japanese recipes and allowed players to shout into the microphone to turn pages, so as not to cover the DS in whatever console-damaging ingredients they were currently using. Its popularity has led to the confirmation of a Japan-exclusive sequel, and the inclusion of music from the game in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

This year, it seems that European DS owners will be able to see what all the fuss is about, as Cooking Navi has been rated for a German release by the USK under the name Cooking Course: What Shall We Cook Today?

Expect more localised recipes, and a national epidemic in the vein of the Brain Training games to ensue.
