News: Cruis'n Exclusive To Wii

Nintendo 64 racer Cruis'n from Midway makes a comeback on the Wii...

The Cruis'n series started out on the Arcades, and the first three were ported to the Nintendo 64.

The series started out in 1994 in the arcades with Cruis'n USA, then ported to the Nintendo 64 a few years later. Cruis'n World and Cruis'n Exotica followed, with the last game, Cruis'n Velocity, appearing in 2001 on the GBA.

Now Midway are planning on bringing the series back on the Wii, and will simply be titled Cruis'n. Players will be able to pick from an "impressive" layout of cars, and there will be twelve different street circuits. Cars can be customised with with upgraded turbos, body kits, neon displays, nitrous boosters and more. The game will be controlled via the Wii Remote, most likely held sideways to steer.

Cruis'n is due for release in November.
