Are we paying too much for GameCubes in the UK?

According to the The Consumers' Association of Great Britain, Nintendo are over-pricing us for GameCubes in the UK.

GameCubes here cost us �10 more than in Europe. The latest price cuts for the GameCube are 99 Euros, or �79.99 in the UK. However, 99 Euros translates to �69.76 in a direct currency conversion.

Nintendo says that the final retail price is decided by the retailers themselves, thereby shifting the blame, but either way, it's unfair if the UK always ends up paying more for their games and consoles than the rest of Europe.
