Nintendo appear to be about to change the standard Wii package. All the details inside...
Tech news site Neowin are reporting an exclusive scoop of news - that the standard Wii bundle as we know it is about to change.
Apparently, the current package has entered the internal status of 'early warning' which means that all current stock (in America, at least) will be phased out within 90 days, to be replaced by a new package.
Neowin speculate this could be to introduce a Wii either with upgraded memory, or with a different game bundled in, or even different coloured versions of the console. Certainly what was on our minds when we heard this is the fact that in less than ninety days, Nintendo will have had their reveal-all press conference at E3. Will a new Wii console package be revealed? It's definitely a strong possibility.
