Koch Media announces it is to close Cursed Mountain developer Deep Silver Vienna.

Sad news to report, as entertainment company Koch Media has announced it is to close one of its video game development arms.

Deep Silver Vienna was a relatively new set-up, and its first and only game Cursed Mountain went on sale last year exclusively for Wii. Despite generally positive reviews, did not perform well commercially. This is likely the main reason Koch Media cites financial issues for the closure of the studio.

Deep Silver Vienna's 20 staff members will be paid up until March before officially being let go. We hope these talented developers find new footing in the industry.
